Description

During any incident it is vital the community is kept informed of the current state of the network, application, or service, and the estimated time to restore it to the expected behaviour.  Having an effective communication plan and procedures in place is vital in the effectiveness of the NREN.  It allows incident administrators to create and manage communications related to major network issues or incidents, bring together all involved stakeholders during these events and establish quick and easy flow of information.
