COVID-19 Test Requirements at Port of Entry
The Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) have issued the following entry requirements for Zambia. Please note that this can change from time to time.
- All travelers entering Zambia must produce evidence of a PCR negative test conducted within 72 hours (3 days) prior to departure from the country of origin.
- All travelers from countries that are deemed to be at high risk of COVID-19 by the Ministry of Health / Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) will be subjected to COVID-19 testing at the point of entry even if they have a a negative PCR test certificate. Specimen will be collected on arrival or within 48 hours of entry into the country.
- Testing at the point of entry will be conducted at the travelers cost.
- Travelers need to adhere to COVID-19 prevention measures that include wearing masks and practicing social distancing of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet).
- Travelers presenting at the points of entry with symptoms and signs suggestive of COVID-19 shall be re-tested and quarantined in designated facilities until results are available to inform decision making.

Measures During Conference
All participants in Livingstone will be required to wear face masks at all times in and around the conference facilities and participate in social distancing of 1.5 metres apart.
Exit Requirements
All travelers are required to check their country entry requirements. Most countries are requiring evidence of a PCR negative test conducted within 72 hours. You can do the test at Livingstone General Hospital at a cost of $90.
